DIY Doorbell cover…courtesy of mister

After years of a gross looking doorbell cover and not finding a suitable replacement at the home improvement stores….mister took matters into his own hands and made me a new one.

DSCN1223We had some left over wood from a previous project so mister measured, cut, glued and nailed together the cover.

DSCN1222Then there was sanding and more sanding.  I put a layer poly down and mister taped up the edges and painted the corners black.

DSCN1280Old (take special note of the dust still on it):

DSCN1280Awesome right?!!!
