Fall is a beautiful time of year in North Dakota…especially in the Turtle Mountains.  Sigh.  so pretty.

There has been a mass exodus of boats and pontoons from the water and it is so quiet up here now.  During the summer months the lake is a hive of activity.  Boats buzzing across the lake all the time.  And then Fall comes and it winds down slowly until that week before the first frost…..the rustle of the leaves is the only sound.
